These terms govern your use of WerkHunt. By creating an account you agree to them. WerkHunt is currently a free, pre-launch beta.
What the service does
WerkHunt gathers job listings from public sources, scores each role against the profile you provide, gives you an honest fit verdict, and helps you track your applications. When the drafting features are live, it can also draft a cover letter and tailor a CV for a specific role, built only from the experience you have entered.
We never apply on your behalf. There is no auto-apply. You always review and send every application yourself.
Sharing your profile with employers is your choice. By default we never share or sell your data. You can opt in, in Settings, to let partner employers reach you : it is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off again at any time. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what that means.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old (the age of digital consent in Germany) to use WerkHunt. The service is built for people in the job market and is not directed at children. If you are under 16, please do not create an account.
Guidance, not guarantees
Fit scores, verdicts, and warnings (language, title-trap, work-authorization, and so on) are decision support to save you time. They are not promises about whether you will be invited, hired, or eligible for any role. The decision to apply is always yours.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about yourself, and keep your account credentials (your email) secure.
- Use the service for your own job search, lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt or scrape it.
- Use one account per person. Opening multiple accounts to get around the free-tier limits is not allowed.
- Make your own decisions about which roles to apply to and what to send.
To keep the free tier sustainable, we run automated checks for duplicate accounts (see the Privacy Policy). If an account looks like a duplicate opened to reset the free limits, we may pause its AI features. This is a pause, not a ban : it lifts automatically on a paid plan, and if you think it is a mistake you can contact us for a human review.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time magic link sent to your email. You can delete your account and your data at any time by contacting birand@werkhunt.com.
Availability and beta status
The service is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed, and listings come from third parties whose accuracy and availability we do not control (we run an automated check and remove dead links, but cannot guarantee every listing is current).
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, for intent or gross negligence, or under mandatory consumer-protection law).
Intellectual property
The service, its design, and its code are owned by the provider. The profile content and documents you upload remain yours ; you grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.
Changes, language, and governing law
We may update these terms as the service evolves and will revise the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
These terms are provided in English, which is the language of the contract. If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and the invalid provision is replaced by the valid rule that comes closest to its intended purpose.
